HOA Community Solutions began as a very small sole proprietorship in 2008.  Initially, the plan was that we would start small and help a limited number of communities.  It became clear that there was a need in the industry for a management company that would accept clients and communities of all sizes, even in the more rural areas. 

We filled an unexpected niche.  Expanding our service area from just Pierce County, to include South King, Kitsap, Mason, and Thurston Counties to assist over one hundred Associations in the Puget Sound Region.   

Over the years, our staff team has steadily grown to twenty one dedicated employees. Each of them holds a special place in my heart.  We employ genuinely good people; who in turn have developed tremendous relationships with their community partners and they work very hard to ensure we provide the best service possible to our clients.  We are very blessed and fortunate to serve in this capacity.


Saria Atkisson - Front Desk Associate

I am originally from a small town called Linn, Missouri. My hometown is one mile long and closest “big” city to us is the capitol area Jefferson City.   I attended Lincoln University where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

My immediate family is still in Missouri, but I moved to Gig Harbor to be closer to my Grandfather and cousin who live here, after graduating from Lincoln University.  I am new to the Community Association Management industry but worked in customer service for a telecommunications company based in Fife my first year after moving to Washington and prior to coming to HOA Community Solutions.

I do what I do because I love to help people and to try to better their experience.  Outside of work, I love trail hiking, collecting snow globes, and travelling!

 


Alicia Holum - Escrow and Accounts Payable

I was trained in the medical transcription profession but have previously managed the payroll and accounts payable departments for a large local roofing company.  I am originally from a small town in North Dakota named Hebron.  I moved to Gig Harbor in 2001. 

I have one daughter, one son and three Siamese cats.  I love being outdoors, walking, watching kids’ sporting events, kickboxing, and hanging out with friends.  I am fairly new to the property management industry, but I love the challenge and the fact that I am working with a great team of professionals.   


Lisa Scott - Accounts Payable

Born and raised here in Washington, I grew up in Bellevue. I am married and have a daughter, Sydney. I enjoy boating, gardening and doing just about anything outdoors.

I’ve been responsible for handling the Accounts Payable department at HOA Community Solutions since 2010. I take pleasure in being able to help our communities.  Especially when they have a tight turn around on a project and need a check cut quickly. 

Prior to bookkeeping and AP work, I was a school teacher in the Seattle School District.  I taught physical education to elementary school children. While my job now is very different from teaching, I enjoy it immensely. I like working with great people and my part-time position has allowed me the flexibility to focus my time on what I enjoy.


Liz Angell, CPA - Staff Accountant

Prior to working in our industry, Liz was a Certified Public Account for a large private hospital. We are delighted to have her talents and skillset on our team! 

Where a complex accounting matter might be a cause for concern for most people, Liz views challenges as a puzzle to solve.  She loves accounting and enjoys being challenged.  We are all very grateful for her knowledge and accounting leadership.

 

 

 



Debra Porter - Sr. Community Manager

I grew up in Federal Way and have lived in Edgewood most of my adult years. I have been married for several years and we have a few pets. I enjoy running and motorcycling.

I have been in the property management industry since 2011. Before working at HOA Community Solutions, I worked several years with a not-for-profit corporation and worked with volunteer board members.   Currently, I manage several larger properties in Tacoma and Puyallup and I supervise other community managers.  I literally fell into this industry because of a past work relationship.  I enjoy working in this industry because there is always a new problem to solve. I work for a great company that does everything with a high level of integrity, and we are meeting a need for high quality community management. 


Lacretia Goetz - Community Manager and Billing Specialist

I was born and raised in Winfield, Kansas and moved to Bonney Lake, Washington in 1997. I have two children that keep me very busy and are my world. When not working, I love to boat, swim, traveling with family and friends. I also enjoy working out, running, and bicycling. I love Seahawks football and sports in general. I enjoy volunteering for non-profits and helping others always.

I have been with HOA Community Solutions since January 2014, but in Property Management/Accounting for over twenty years. My current role at HOA Community Solutions, is the management of billing/accounts receivable for all of communities we manage. I love a challenge and I love to help people. My co-workers are all great to work with and I’ve enjoyed building relationships with the volunteers in our communities. Each new day brings something different and I love that!

Lyndsay Tuley - Sr. Community Manager

I have lived in the Northwest throughout my life. I grew up in the Seattle area and attended Bellevue Christian Jr. & Sr. High.  Graduated in 1997 from the University of Washington. I have been happily married for 20 years to my husband, Patrick, and we have two sons, Nicholas (16) and Reagan (15). We also have two dogs, Franklin and Liberty. I enjoy spending time with the family. Our oldest son is on a select baseball team so we spend all summer at the baseball fields.

I have been in the property management industry for 6 years. I manage a number of associations in the greater Pierce County area. I really enjoy this job because each day brings a new and different challenge. This is an industry where each community and situation that we deal with is unique. It certainly keeps me on my toes, always learning and never boring!


Tracy Butzko - Community Manager, CMCA

Born in Seattle, I grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago, lived in the East Coast and Midwest before returning to the Pacific Northwest. I graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington campus. I earned the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) to serve the communities I manager better.

I am also a licensed real estate agent for the past 9 years. Prior to starting my real estate career, I worked in the International Publishing for more than 25 years. I am a boating enthusiast and currently live in Gig Harbor. As a results-oriented professional, I strive to balance market knowledge and negotiating expertise with a high level of integrity to satisfy each and every client and customer. I work for you.

I have established excellent working relationships and credibility in this industry through honesty, professionalism and commitment to quality service. Maintaining a positive attitude is paramount to my success while working with communities as a Community Manager.


Janet Biggs - Community Manager

I live in Gig Harbor with my husband and my two young-adult children.  My family moved to Washington state in 2003.  A native Californian, I earned a B.S. in Biological Science from the University of California, Irvine.  I am a retired police officer and former 911 Dispatcher.  This previous work experience has actually brought along with it a lot of skills for working on challenges within communities!    Lastly, I have to include that I am a HUGE Seahawks fan.  Go Hawks!

Loree Green - Community Manager

I am originally from Arizona but lived in Washington from 2004 to 2008 at which time I worked in property management in South King County. InApril 2015, my husband and I made the long road trip back and settled in Olympia with our two children, Ethan and Sydney, and our two dogs, Bella and Roxie. We love the Northwest and plan to make this our forever home.

In May 2015, I joined HOA Community Solutions as the Village Management Software (VMS) Specialist.  I had previously worked for the developer of the VMS software and bring that knowledge base to the company.  In August 2015, I began managing my first two communities. Since then, I have added six more communities to my portfolio.

I truly enjoy my job and working here. The team is an amazing group of people who are always available to help and are incredibly knowledgeable in homeowners and condominium management. I am looking forward to expanding my portfolio to community associations in Olympia, Tumwater, and Lacey which are all close to my home office.

Cathy Prevost - Associate Community Manager

I am a true local, born in Seattle, raised in Ballard, lived in Snohomish and now here on the Kitsap Peninsula. I've spent the majority of my life working with people, spending many years as an estate manager in Bellevue and the past 10 years as the co-owner of Pioneer Financial LLC, a mortgage brokerage in Poulsbo. I have two grown children and one gorgeous grandchild! I love to cook and bake for my friends and family, and am known for making a mean coconut cream pie (and red velvet cupcakes!). I'm new to this industry, but feel as if I have come home, and am thrilled to be working with the great folks here at HOA Community Solutions. 



Sue Dupuis - Community Manager, McCormick Woods

I am originally from Buffalo, NY, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management. After graduation, I spent ten years living in San Diego before relocating to Gig Harbor. I am married with a teenage daughter and enjoy skiing and outdoor activities, as well as cooking and watching football.

Working with HOA Community Solutions has given me the opportunity to combine my background in management, along with years of business and finance experience, with doing what I love…working with and helping people. I enjoy all of the many challenges and growth opportunities that this job provides, and I am very glad to be a part of such an amazing, dedicated and supporting team!

Michaela Schmalz - Associate Community Manager

I was born and raised Ferndale, WA. Prior to property management, I was in banking for 10 years, which is how I met my husband. We moved to Portland, OR for a few years and settled down in Gig Harbor in 2011. We just recently had our first child; a beautiful baby girl. She also has a big brother named Palmer, our silver lab. I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. September through February, you can find us cheering on the Huskies and Seahawks!

Although I am new to property management, I enjoy the challenge and appreciate that there is always something to learn. Currently, I manage several properties in the Gig Harbor/Tacoma/Federal Way area. It is refreshing to work for a company who’s values so closely align with mine. Our team is very knowledgeable and always willing to lend a hand. I look forward to a long and successful career with this amazing company!

Katie Laney - Operations Tech

I was born and raised in Southern California and a little over 3 years I ago decided that I needed change, something was missing in my life and I didn’t feel like California had what I needed.  So, I took a leap a faith, and with the help of my family and friends decided that Washington was the new place my daughter and I were going to call home.  Within a few months I knew I had made the right decision. I acquired a great job working for KTH Management who was hired to manage the McCormick Woods Homeowners Association, met a great man, got married, and we had our son.

I joined the HOA Community Solutions team in January 2018.  I was fortunate to be promoted to a brand-new position, Operations Technician, which has not only allowed me to work from home but also allowed me to learn many new skills. I enjoy the challenge of the job and that there is always something new to learn.

I am so grateful to be working with such a great team of people.  Everyone goes above and beyond not only for the clients but also for each other.  I am truly blessed to be able to work for such an amazing company!

Mark Lukkasson - Property Manager, McCormick Woods

I moved from Montana to Washington State in 1966 and have worked for McCormick Woods since 1988.  I am currently the Property Manager for McCormick Woods.  In my role, I oversee the landscape contractor for the Association common areas and the landscaping in the sub-associations as well as work with the Design Review Committee on complaints and applications. What I like most about my job is working with people, overcoming challenges and problem solving.

During my free time, I love spending time with my two grand-daughters and traveling.

Debi Krueger - Operations, McCormick Woods

I was raised with the military and was fortunate enough to have lived and went to school in Germany and Greece!  I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren that keep me very busy when I’m not at work.  Although I have worked in the HOA industry for 18 years, every day is a new learning experience!    

I process all payments and invoices for McCormick Woods, Prestwick, Dunraven, Strathmore and Hawkstone.   In addition, I work closely with the Common Area Committee updating and providing various logs/spreadsheets, preparing, distributing and attending monthly common area meetings.  When time permits, help in any other areas where needed.  

What do I love about my job?   Working with and helping people.

Melanie Danison - Accounting, McCormick Woods

I have worked in the industry for many years.  Overtime, my job has changed continually.  Currently I am responsible for producing the monthly financial statements in a timely manner, preparing annual operating and reserve budgets, and updating numerous spreadsheets and long range budgets.  I also prepare the quarterly newsletter for the Association and manage the newsletter advertising.

I love working with numbers, finding solutions to problems and helping homeowners.

Danielle Tabor - Front Desk Associate, McCormick Woods

I am originally from Hampton Roads, Virginia. My husband and I moved to Washington state in early 2018 with our three dogs, Bella, Charlie, & Bombay.

I joined HOA Community Solutions with almost 10 years of customer service and office administration experience. I enjoy problem solving and helping people and I feel that being on site with the McCormick Woods team gives me the opportunity to do just that.
