Juanita - Managing Member (CMCA)

Community Solutions began as a very small sole proprietorship in 2008.  Initially, the plan was that we would start small and help a limited number of communities.  It became clear that there was a need in the industry for a management company that would accept clients and communities of all sizes, even in the more rural areas. We filled an unexpected niche.  Expanding our service area from just Pierce County, to include South King, Kitsap, Mason, and Thurston Counties to assist over one hundred Associations in the Puget Sound Region.

Over the years, our staff team has steadily grown to thirty-two dedicated employees. Each of them holds a special place in my heart.  We employ genuinely good people; who in turn have developed tremendous relationships with our community partners and we all work very hard to ensure we provide the best service possible to our clients.  We are very blessed and fortunate to serve in this capacity.

As you can imagine, this is a challenging industry! Working with issues around homeownership can be contentious. We promise to always do our very best for you. We are human though, so if we make a mistake kindly forgive us and let us know how we can work together to improve.

Born and raised here in Washington, I grew up in Bellevue. I am married and have a daughter, Sydney. I enjoy boating, gardening and doing just about anything outdoors.

I’ve been responsible for handling the Accounts Payable department at HOA Community Solutions since 2010. I take pleasure in being able to help our communities.  Especially when they have a tight turn around on a project and need a check cut quickly.

Prior to bookkeeping and AP work, I was a school teacher in the Seattle School District.  I taught physical education to elementary school children. While my job now is very different from teaching, I enjoy it immensely. I like working with great people and my part-time position has allowed me the flexibility to focus my time on what I enjoy.

Prior to working in our industry, Liz was a Certified Public Account for a large private hospital. We are delighted to have her talents and skillset on our team!

Janet - Senior Community Manager (CMCA)

I am a native Californian but have now been in Washington for 17 years, living in Gig Harbor with my husband since 2003. We have two adult children who have successfully “launched” and we have adjusted to our new lives as empty nesters over the past couple of years. When I’m not working, I enjoy my Book Club, playing Bunko, Fantasy Football and rooting for the Seahawks.

I am a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, (Home of the mighty Anteaters) with a B.S. in Biological Science. After college I put my degree to good use and worked first as a 911 Police Dispatcher and then as a Police Officer for almost 13 years in Orange County, CA. After retiring from law enforcement due to a back injury, I took a few years off to be a stay-at-home mom before joining the HOA-CS team in 2014.

In 2019, I transitioned from managing my own portfolio of HOA and Condo associations to training new managers and functioning as a coach and mentor for several other managers. I really enjoy working with all the different communities and the variety of challenges they face keeps me on my toes. Our entire staff is truly dedicated to doing their best for our clients each and every day.

I am originally from Arizona but lived in Washington from 2004 to 2008 at which time I worked in property management in South King County. In April 2015, my husband and I made the long road trip back and settled in Olympia with our two children, Ethan and Sydney. We love the Northwest and plan to make this our forever home.

In May 2015, I joined HOA Community Solutions as the Village Management Software (VMS) Specialist.  I had previously worked for the developer of the VMS software and brought that knowledge base to the company.

I truly enjoy consulting with this team. They are an amazing group of people who are always available to help and are incredibly knowledgeable in homeowners and condominium management.

Katie.jpg

Katie - Operations Manager

I was born and raised in Southern California and a little over 3 years I ago decided that I needed change, something was missing in my life and I didn’t feel like California had what I needed.  So, I took a leap a faith, and with the help of my family and friends decided that Washington was the new place my daughter and I were going to call home.  Within a few months I knew I had made the right decision. I acquired a great job working for KTH Management who was hired to manage the McCormick Woods Homeowners Association, met a great man, got married, and we had our son.

I joined the HOA Community Solutions team in January 2018.  I was fortunate to be promoted to a brand-new position, Operations Technician, which has not only allowed me to work from home but also allowed me to learn many new skills. I enjoy the challenge of the job and that there is always something new to learn.

I am so grateful to be working with such a great team of people.  Everyone goes above and beyond not only for the clients but also for each other.  I am truly blessed to be able to work for such an amazing company!

Alecx - Compliance Specialist

I've been a proud member of the Compliance team since April 2023, bringing eight years of valuable experience in the customer service industry. My dedication lies in ensuring homeowners receive the support they need. What truly drives me in my role is the meaningful connections I create with homeowners daily, where I address their concerns and guide them through compliance matters. Above all, I find the most fulfillment in making our homeowners feel genuinely heard and valued. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, and exploring freediving. I am committed to upholding compliance standards and fostering positive community relationships. I eagerly look forward to contributing to our team's ongoing success.

Jennifer T - Compliance Inspector

I was born in Texas as a Navy brat which eventually landed us here in Washington State. After my father retired, my family moved back to Texas. However, I couldn’t tear myself away from the beauty of the Northwest, so my son and I stayed here. I have one bio son and three others that I love like my own.  My bio son, James is 18, Kie is 15, Kage is 11, and Mya is 8.  They all live with their fathers, and I get them on the weekends. So, we are always planning fun adventures on the weekends. We love hiking, camping, road trips, game nights, and movie nights. And on the rare occasion that I have some free time I love to slow down to crochet and/or paint.

My professional background is very colorful. I have worked in retail, fast food, and customer service, and I have my certification to provide ABA therapy to special needs children. When I joined HOA Community Solutions in May of 2022, I was brand new to the industry and was excited about the new opportunities. I started at the front desk and have moved into the compliance inspector position. I love working for HOA Community Solutions where we provide professional management services with the highest level of customer service and fairness.

I am truly grateful to this company and am excited for the opportunities that lie ahead!

Shirelle web.jpg

Shirelle - Accounts Payable & Escrow

I was born and raised in Southern California. Missing something but not sure what, in 2003 I relocated to Northern California and a year later met my soulmate. We lived in Northern  California for 10 years until a job promotion for my significant other brought us and our two long haired mini dachshunds Daizie and Maddie to the Pacific North West. We’ve been here 5 plus years and love exploring the nature and beauty Washington offers so abundantly.

I’ve been very fortunate to have traveled 45 U.S. states, several European countries as well as Central America. My happy place is on the water and riding two wheels along the beach coast or back roads. I also own my own wedding officiant business that I find tremendously rewarding.

Upon moving to Washington, I left the packaging industry after 23 years to explore other opportunities. From my initial interest to now, the HOA-CS family has been nothing but welcoming, gracious, abundantly positive and accepting.  I look forward to this next chapter in my life and getting to know the communities I manage.

Larry Lukkasson.jpeg

Larry - Property Manager - McCormick Woods

I moved to Port Orchard in 1992, after spending seventeen years managing a motel in Forks, WA.  I worked for the McCormick Land Company and the McCormick Woods Golf Course for twenty-five years, followed by a job with the Port Orchard Water Company.

I was glad for the opportunity to re-join the McCormick Woods team with HOA Community Solutions in a new job capacity.  I am currently a Property Manager and oversee the common areas of the association. What I enjoy most about this position is the opportunity to work closely with homeowners and help to overcome challenges that arise along with problem-solving.

While not working, I enjoy remodeling my home, working in the yard, and entertaining.

shawn

Shawn - Assistant Property Manager – McCormick Woods

With a professional tapestry woven from over two decades in IT, gardening/landscaping, and property management, my skills seamlessly merge quality assurance with unwavering customer service. As the Property Manager for the Sub-Associations at McCormick Woods HOA, my day-to-day involves assisting the Design Review Committee with application evaluations and follow ups, ensuring timely response to landscape maintenance requests, and collaborating with contractors for project bids. Further, I shoulder the responsibility of assisting our property manager Larry with duties pertaining to the common areas of McCormick Woods, I also am performing compliance checks, upholding the standards and integrity of the greater McCormick Woods community.

Outside the realm of property management, my heartbeat resonates with the great outdoors. Whether hiking, kayaking, or camping, with my family, nature is my sanctuary. And when evening shadows fall, our band, Aurashine, comes alive. Comprising my wife, friends, occasionally our children, and me, our collective passion for music echoes through the aether. In every endeavor, from property management to harmonious melodies, I seek to create a symphony of balance and dedication.

Tyrah – Front Desk Associate – McCormick Woods

I joined the marvelous team at McCormick Woods as the Front Desk Associate in late May 2023. My favorite part about my position is getting to know and help the residents within this beautiful neighborhood!

I have worked retail for the past 9 years and pride myself in creating a welcoming and helpful environment for my coworkers and residents alike, as this is personally a very important quality within the service industry. I grew up in Gig Harbor but now own my home in the lovely city of Port Orchard.

When I’m not at work, you can usually find me hiking somewhere in the mountains with my dogs or assisting my friend with her photography business.

Jennifer S - Senior Community Manager

I was born and raised in Puyallup, WA and moved to the Bonney Lake area with my husband in 2012. Together we have three adventurous children; Jonah (15), Emalie (10) and Ryan (6). In addition, we also have three very spoiled fur babies. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, gardening, jogging/fitness, reading motivational & inspirational books and hiking occasionally. I previously worked in customer service/sales for an industrial supplier for nearly eleven years. I joined HOA Community Solutions in May of 2018 and currently manage several communities in the Bonney Lake/Puyallup/Spanaway area. I feel extremely blessed to have been given an opportunity to work for an amazing management company and with a great team of people.

Irene - Community Manager

I began my Community Management journey in March of 2021. In my role as a Community Manager, I oversee various aspects of community development. My hands-on approach to problem-solving and commitment to transparent communication has contributed to the successful resolution of issues. I am a dedicated Community Manager with a commitment to enhancing the unique fabric of each Homeowners Association I serve. In this dynamic role, no two days are ever the same, and I find immense satisfaction in navigating the intricacies of community life.

Previously, I spent 23 years successfully managing a multi-million-dollar trade show portfolio where I successfully managed teams ranging from 50 to 200 people. The onset of COVID-19 necessitated a profound pivot in my life. The industry shut down, along with many others which gave me time to evaluate what my next opportunity might be. Little did I know, I would find a home right in my own back yard at HOA Community Solutions.

I was born and raised in Tacoma, WA where I raised my two Sons & two Daughters. I have lived in 8 states over my life, so far, but the Pacific Northwest is my home. I love gardening, cooking, traveling and being with my family AND pouring wine for my local Wine shop.

Natasha Irvin.jpeg

Natasha - Community Manager (CMCA)

Originally from Arizona, my family moved to Washington in February of 2019. My family is comprised of my husband, son, and our four legged fur child. I love the Northwest, especially our weather’s mood swings but most breathtaking are the mountainous and evergreen views.

Prior to moving here, I was a Community Manager in Arizona. I have always been passionate about my role in the HOA management industry for the last four years. That passion is the fuel that drives me to immerse myself in my work to deliver results. Truth is, I thoroughly enjoy the educational and “it takes a village” aspect of it all.

Brenda - Community Manager

I was born and raised in Moab, Utah long before tourism took over our beautiful little town.  Shortly after graduating high school in 1986, my parents decided to move to Las Vegas and I decided to join them. I attended Community College of Southern Nevada and studied Business Administration. I worked for a trade association for jewelers where I traveled to various jewelry trade shows.  I moved to Washington in 2002. I do not miss the Las Vegas heat.  The beautiful summers in the Puget Sound area keep me here.  I have a 32 year old son, Colin, who lives in Las Vegas and a 15 year old step-son, David who lives in Tacoma.

I have worked with HOAs and Condominium Associations since 2013.  I enjoy working with board members and homeowners.  It is never the same day twice which keeps things interesting. I have my real estate license and I am currently studying to take the exam to become a Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA)  I am honored to be working for such a great company and with awesome co-workers.

Michaela - Community Manager

I grew up in Ferndale, Washington and have lived in the Pacific Northwest my entire life.  I met my husband working in the banking industry and we share a daughter, Charlie (6) and a son, Camden (3).  To add to the mix, we also have a Labrador Retriever puppy and a kitten.  Between work and my kid’s activities, I enjoy golfing, spending time in the San Juan Islands and taking advantage of any moment I can get outdoors. Also, a notable mention is that I am an avid Swiftie!

I originally started working with HOA Community Solutions back in 2017 as a Community Manager and took some time off to focus on my family. I could not be more excited to rejoin the team, as the culture here is contagious – compassionate and helpful co-workers with a heart to serve others!

Korrine – Community Manager

I have lived in Washington my entire life and love all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I currently live in Pierce County with my husband and two children. We love hiking, fishing and spend most of our summers outdoors.

Prior to working in the Community Association Management industry, I owned my own business specializing in the wedding industry.  Covid-19 truly shut weddings and special events down in 2020.  As a result, I came to work here at HOA Community Solutions. I love the flexibility and challenges that I experience every day on the job.  Every day is something new.  I love working with HOA Community Solutions and find that it is an exciting time to work in the industry of condominium and homeowners association management.

Lauren – Senior Community Manager – Sunrise Master

I'm a California native but moved to Gig Harbor with my family in 2003. After attending college in California at California Lutheran University and meeting my husband, we moved to Washington in 2019. I’m passionate about baking, traveling, attending sports events (mainly rugby and baseball), and spending quality time with family and friends in my free time.

Before joining HOA Community Solutions, I worked in the aviation industry as a flight attendant for seven years. During those years, I became an active union member and showed an aptitude for reading and comprehending contracts.

In 2022, I left aviation and joined the HOA Community Solutions team as an On-site Community Manager at the Sunrise Master Association in Puyallup. I love all the changes and challenges that come with a developing Master Planned Community, and I enjoy meeting all the homeowners who love living in Sunrise. Being new to the community association industry, I’m thankful to have such a supportive and knowledgeable team to collaborate with at HOA Community Solutions.

Lyndsay-4906.jpg

Lyndsay - Senior Community Manager

I have lived in the Northwest throughout my life. I grew up in the Seattle area and attended Bellevue Christian Jr. & Sr. High.  Graduated in 1997 from the University of Washington. I have been happily married for 20 years to my husband, Patrick, and we have two sons, Nicholas (16) and Reagan (15). We also have two dogs, Franklin and Liberty. I enjoy spending time with the family. Our oldest son is on a select baseball team so we spend all summer at the baseball fields.

I have been in the property management industry for 6 years. I manage a number of associations in the greater Pierce County area. I really enjoy this job because each day brings a new and different challenge. This is an industry where each community and situation that we deal with is unique. It certainly keeps me on my toes, always learning and never boring!

Angel – Community Manager - Sunrise Master

I was born in Bremerton, Washington, and while I grew up here, my summers were spent in Montana.  I now live in the Puyallup area with my three daughters and two dogs. I enjoy volunteering locally.  After taking time to raise my two daughters, I joined HOA Community Solutions in June 2020.

I currently work onsite at the Sunrise Master Association where I enjoy interacting with homeowners on a daily basis.  I have found the unique challenges of working with a large-scale, master planned community to be exhilarating and rewarding. I feel fortunate to be part of the HOA Community Solutions team and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

Aschley - Association Property Manager - Sunrise Master

I am a Pacific Northwesterner from birth, currently residing in beautiful Puyallup with my husband, three children, and a small zoo. When I am not sharpening my customer service skills, I can be found baking endless loaves of sourdough bread and watching the Kraken.

Coming from a background in residential, multi-family, and commercial property management, I moved to HOA Community Solutions in February 2021 where I work on-site at the Sunrise Master Association as the Association Property Manager. I have been tasked with overseeing the upkeep of nearly 1,500 acres of grounds and several parks. As the resident compliance expert, I am well-versed in helping homeowners understand how to live harmoniously within the Governing Documents. I am also responsible for assisting Sunrise residents with Architectural Review applications which takes a great deal of patience and creative thinking.

If asked, I will always tell you that my favorite part of the job is the people. Whether it is the inspiring group that I have the pleasure of working with at HOA Community Solutions or the Homeowners of Sunrise, I feel welcomed by both and am grateful that I have had the chance to be a part of their stories.

Darla - Community Manager (CMCA)

Before joining the team at HOA CS, I was a “Big Box” retail store manager, and I ran multi-million dollar stores and directed teams of more than 100 employees. I enjoyed my 30 years of Customer Service in the Retail environment but was ready for a change. My husband worked with HOA CS as a vendor for over ten years. I got to know the extraordinary team that worked for the company and experienced the passion and honesty they felt for the work they provided, and I wanted to be a part of that team. So, once I decided to change, this was the first company I called. I genuinely believe that all feedback is a gift, even though it does not always feel that way, and I have the desire to be helpful.

When I am not at work, I enjoy many hobbies; however, my most significant accomplishment to date is getting my Private Pilot License so I can fly a single-engine plane around the Puget Sound area. Puget Sound is beautiful, and to fly in a small plane with friends and family to show the sights from 3000 ft. is unexplainable.

Brianna – Community Manager

I was born and raised in Kitsap County. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have a daughter, Cecilia. I love Scottish terriers, and I have two named Sammy and Bella. When I am not working, I enjoy cooking, crafting, glamping, traveling, gardening, and wine tasting.

I joined HOA Community Solutions in January 2022 as a Community Manager managing communities throughout Kitsap County and Pierce County. I love that this career allows me the opportunity to spend a lot of time with my daughter while also having a job that is helping people enjoy the community that they live in.

Shayla - Senior Community Manager - McCormick Woods

I was born in California, but I grew up in the North Kitsap area. I graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Kinesiology. After graduation, I worked and lived in England for 6 months before moving to San Diego where I began my 9-year career in the senior living field. I spent 2 years in San Diego and was promoted within the company and relocated to Scottsdale. After a year in the desert, my PNW roots were calling and I moved back home. Six months later I met my now husband. We have a busy home with our 2 young kids, a dog, 2 cats, and 3 chickens. We love to spend as much time as possible together outside and enjoy camping in our travel trailer.

I originally joined the HOA-CS team in April 2020 as a Community Manager working with a portfolio of communities. I took some time off to focus on my family and am excited to be back with HOA-CS and working with the great team at McCormick Woods! The team at HOA-CS is supportive, welcoming, and so positive. I love this work because each day is different and I get the opportunity to work with and help people!

Randi – Associate Community Manager

Due to my father serving in the Military my family resided in multiple states and overseas before deciding Washington would be our permanent home. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity to travel and see different parts of the world. Home is now with my husband, daughter, and our four-legged pets in Puyallup, WA.

Before joining HOA Community Solutions, I was a Mortgage Loan Officer for 7 years. Prior to that I was a Bank Manager and have held a position in the Financial Industry for a total of 17 years. I love the friendly environment HOA Community Solutions offers not just internally but externally, as I get to know many board members and residents.

When I am not working, you can find me at the horse barn where my daughter practices and competes in Hunter/Jumper. If I am not at the barn, which is rare, you can find me baking horse cookies for our small business. I love baking, being creative, and sharing my creations.

Connie – Site Manager – Canterwood

I am a native Washingtonian and was born and raised in Longview. I went to WSU and graduated with a business degree in Hotel Management. Post graduation, I transferred around a bit professionally before returning to the PNW to be closer to family. The bulk of my earlier career was in the hotel business and eventually the Senior care industry.

I am a single mom of an amazing 35-year-old daughter, who married an awesome man, and they have a 3-year-old daughter and are expecting their second daughter in 2024.  My daughter moved to Gig Harbor after graduating from college. After becoming a grandmother, (the greatest thing ever)! The draw of being closer to them got the best of me and I left my career in the Senior care industry and moved to Gig Harbor in Jan 2022.

Since spending the bulk of my career in various sectors of housing, I decided that HOA/property management had some similarities to my background and experience. I was hired and started working for HOACS in August of 2022 at Canterwood, as the Assistant Site Manager. I learned under the tutelage of the Site Manager, who retired in August 2023, whereby I was promoted to the Site Manager position. It has been a busy 15 months learning the office operations at Canterwood. I have learned a lot in that time and have very much enjoyed working for a professional HOA organization. What a great team!

Julie – Assistant Site Manager – Canterwood

I am a born and raised native of the Pacific Northwest, having grown up on Fox Island, I now live in Gig Harbor. I love the PNW, especially once we get through the grey days of Winter. Those first, beautiful Spring days around the water remind me why I am still here, along with my extended large, close family. My immediate family consists of my daughter, 33, and two 19-year-old sons, as well as two busy grand-daughters, 3 years old and 10 months. When I am not working, I enjoy being outdoors, walking, gardening, photography, traveling, the beach, boating and family time.

After taking time off to raise my children, and then getting back into the working world, my professional history included a wide variety of positions.  Coming from a family of professionals in construction and the real estate industry, I found my interest and niche always leading me back to customer service and landing in Property Management prior to HOACS. I currently work onsite at Canterwood as the Assistant Site Manager and enjoy helping, interacting with, and providing exemplary customer service to homeowners daily. I feel fortunate to be part of the HOA Community Solutions team and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow.

Jessica – Office Assistant - Sunrise Master

I'm a Washington native, born and raised, and I currently reside in the charming town of Graham. My world revolves around my loving husband and our two delightful kids. Together, we're nurturing the dream of our very own hobby farm – a project that's keeping us busy and fulfilled. Beyond the homestead, we're avid supporters of The Rainiers, cheering them on during games and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow fans. Family time is precious to us, and our weekends often feature cozy game or movie nights. Our yard is both a playground and a canvas for creativity, offering a space where we unwind and connect with nature.

Prior to my venture into the professional realm, I embraced the role of a dedicated stay-at-home mom. In November 2022, I took a significant step in my career by joining HOA Community Solutions. I'm currently stationed at the Sunrise Master Association, where I have the privilege of interacting with homeowners daily. Working with HOA Community Solutions has been an enriching experience. I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with wonderful individuals and be part of such an amazing company. As I navigate this new chapter, I'm eager to continue learning and growing, both personally and professionally. The journey ahead is exciting, and I look forward to the adventures it brings.
